Meet The Colonial Motel Staff

Hello, and welcome to the Colonial Motel's Web home. My name is KERRY; I have been the owner/manager here since May of 2002.
I, along with Veria, will serve as your hosts, should you choose to drop by and spend some time with us... The lady in the middle is VERIA. She's the Assistant Manager,
my long time partner and confidant, Laundry Manager and Front Desk Clerk, just to name a few of her duties.......Basically, she's been my SALVATION from going completely NUTS during the course of running this place!! Our housekeeping staff of two are Tandee & Dani.Our kids, Silas and Lavenia also serve in the capacity of temp Desk Clerk when needed, or whatever else we need them to be or do..... Thank you for that kids!!

The Colonial has been a fixture in Weiser for road weary travelers of Hwy. 95 since 1941 when it was built as the "Colonial Deluxe Auto Court." It had several (10 or 12 I believe...) "Efficiency Apartments" [for lack of a better term] with kitchens & garages, and then converted to a 21 unit motel in 1950 or so. Check Out the PICS Here.
It also holds the distinction of being the oldest, the largest, and we like to think the BEST existing motel in Weiser. It has been difficult to get any real accurate information about it's "history timeline" from anyone, although I am CONSTANTLY looking for anyone that can provide any to me. (hint hint...) Sometime in the early 60's (educated guess again) two more rooms were added, as well as a separate "Lobby" area, bringing us to our current configuration of 24 units, with a "Managers Apartment" as well as an onsite laundry.
We have configurations of one to three bed units, with four of those being "Kitchenettes."
